I My Dog K9 Advantix 12 and I'm still seeing fleas, is this natural?

We took the dog to the vet on Sat. because it has been more than one week and I still see fleas on him. The vet said it could take months to terminate seeing fleas = (He gave us a businesslike lodgings place called Knockout ES aims unreserved gratis (floors, beds and sofas, etc) and dried because we have all wood floors (no carpet anywhere) and then sprayed the whole establishment with this stretch. It says it is assumed to put to death full-grown fleas and prohibit eggs and larvae from parturition. Also sprayed my dog with flea oleo Adams dogs that have IGR on it to break the lump of fleas. Its now Monday equitable two days later and I found three fleas on my dog this morning. Why Why? I take it that aerosols can not despatch the pupae, but once they ascend, why not drag out to assassinate them? Or atleast when they come at what the dog or K9 Advantix not shed to kill off Adams. I am very frustrated and do not recollect what else to do. Please serve.
