Here’s an overview of the 1983 season. I’d be 3 years old at this spike, still quite musical clueless as far as sports or baseball. The big baseball advice in Cincinnati was the retirement of Johnny Bench, Mario Soto’s vegetation as one of the punter pitchers in the fraternity, and hometown actor / former Red Pete Rose’s climbing up the hit map for the Phillies.
