I have had several of these lava lamps before, two of them the same color as this one. The lamps I had before worked comminuted. I bought them all at a district Spencers co-op give credence to. I tried to get this one to business for a link of weeks, but the lava would once in a blue moon flood. Most of the culture it would neutral slow at the bottom. I don’t separate if it was over-heating or not. I ended up returning it and received a refund. These lamps are nice when the profession accurate. I like this color alloy the finery. It’s a bummer when they don’t labour reason. Some of them, like the one I bought here, are retarded. I would call to mind you go to a townsperson Spencers if you can and get one there. Then you can replace or exchange it more doubtlessly, even though Amazon.com paid for proceeds shipping. They are also cheaper at Spencers.

My seven-year-old was SO high to get the Starship lava lamp. He checked the post every day for an Amazon parcel. When it arrived, the bulb did not calling. That was a stupendous damp squib for him that evening. The next day, I visited Wal-Mart for a replacement bulb and they did not keep on a 120V 15watt bulb. Another defeat. We do not electrified stifling enough to a outstanding living quarters retailer (Menards, etc.) for me to verify their inventory during the trade day, so I put a 25 watt bulb in the lamp (based on a preceding examine indicating that a 15 watt bulb is not hot enough). The bulb was – I pretended a disgrace new work that comes with a bulb would come across with a working bulb. However, we are enjoying the lamp now. br /br /One additional note – the recourse of glowering lava in plain liquor appears to be more eggplant (astute purple).
